This eco-friendly hotel is next to Öskjuhlíd Hill’s quiet woods and 1 km from Nauthólsvík geothermal beach. WiFi and gym access are free. My room was a good size, the bed and linen was EXTREMELY comfortable. I had an amazing sleep every night. I had the dinner and breakfast (both buffet) at the property which a little out of my budget but I feel was so worth it. I gave compliments to the chefs after dinner as every single thing was delicious, I just wish I was able to eat more! Haha! All the staff were very friendly from check in to check out.

A full kitchen and spacious bathroom. The beach is a short walk through the trail and there is a shop right in the corner that's open until midnight for any late night needs. I was able to find a parking spot close to the building every night during our stay. I was a little worried about noise due to its proximity to the domestic airport but that turned out to be a complete nonissue. The owner was great and made sure we really enjoyed our time in Reykjavik.

Located in a seaside neighbourhood with gorgeous seaside “beach houses” with nice architecture, this stay was a lovely location, with a seaside path in the backyard that is a lovely walk on the ocean. The apartment itself is a basement unit that was so incredibly well appointed, with so many extras and high end amenities. The pictures shared by the host are so accurate and the bathroom is incredible with a large soaker tub. Edda, the host, was helpful and so quick to respond to our questions. 100% would stay here again in a heartbeat, what a gem!
