The hotel is located about 10-15 minutes away from the main bus station. A supermarket is also nearby. The views from the hotel are amazing and the bed is extremely comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom is really spacious and equipped with high quality toiletries.

We recently had the pleasure of staying 4 nights at Edda’s SK52 by the Sea, Unique spacious luxury airbnb, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The property was impeccably clean, beautifully & very tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to the smallest details, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect—conveniently situated near Reykjavik (10mins drive) and was a great location to kickstart all our sighting tours/drive to the Golden Circle, and the other parts of southern of Iceland. One of the highlights was the spacious bathroom, which was a real luxury—plenty of room to unwind and relax after a day of exploring. The kitchen island was another standout feature, perfect for both cooking and socializing. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights and woke up refreshed and to a great view each morning. Free parking, with it's close proximity to our stay is a huge bonus. Edda, our host, is the most gracious and generous person ever. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home. She was incredibly responsive, attentive, and yet provided us with all the privacy we needed. We could not ask for anything more. I was very pleasantly surprised by my stay at this guesthouse. After requesting, we had the option of an earlier check-in which was really great. Check-in was easy thanks to the information that came in the message. The room was clean, cozy, towels and a hairdryer. The private bathroom is a big bonus. The room also has a fridge, coffee maker and kettle. There is a kitchen with dishes and a storage room for suitcases downstairs if you need them. Quick arrangement. Perfect location two minutes from the bus station, about 10 minutes from the center, 5 minutes from a beautiful park. We will definitely be back.

The only thing to get used to is that the apartment is more or less on the ground floor, and the windows are large. So, you need to be aware that if you open the vertical blinds, the apartment might be visible from the street. I can recommend the stay.
