The stay was good and the price per night was what we liked most. The location found the hotel to be somewhat hidden and the taxi driver was also surprised to know that the hotel was there. The room was clean. I've been to several hotels around the world and the hotel lacked something different. Maybe something to enjoy in the room, a cookie or something similar as a courtesy. Normally in the hotels where I stayed, the minibar has things to eat and drink where what is consumed is charged separately in my minibar there was only a bottle of water. I don't mind paying the extra but I like the convenience of having something there. But the hotel is good and I would go back again when possible. Another thing that pleased and surprised me was that there was no charge at the time of booking with the credit card and the trust of paying by hand. Thank you for your trust. To be truthful I stayed because I wanted to visit the airport as an aircraft spotter, so I did not look around a lot, however in the evening I did find an excellent Nepalese bar / restaurant, so much so that I never bothered to look for anywhere else the following two nights of my stay.

New and very reasonable price for the quality.

New and very reasonable price for the quality. Highly recommended for the travellers before the trip, but better to buy something to eat and drink around the station, before reaching this hotel by walk (10mins) as there are not many shops around.

Amagasaki is a great 'real' town so close to Osaka, but with...

Amagasaki is a great 'real' town so close to Osaka, but with its own character. We saw a diverse mix of people from all walks of life. Working class, business people, skateboarders, old people playing ukelele in the park. There is a nice old shopping street which is not to be missed. Some good old 'Showa' era coffee shops. We didn't get to do half the things we planned. Will be back!

The area was close to a number of interesting sites. We visited an incredible vintage market at Expo '70 Commemorative Park. Travel to Katsuo Ji (my favorite!) was easy from this area. Our rental here was a great bargain.

Universal studios, was a blast, a crazy experience and it was very fun to start off Japan. Osaka castle was really cool to see as well, using the osaka fun pass, it was free to visit these attractions. Klook has good deals and there was good shopping and food. Things like the cruise at dotonbori, included in the pass was fun to see all the vibrant lights and to taste all the street food. Shopping was decent there and there was a lot to do in Osaka, like roaming the streets at night, or going to spa world at 2am, the place is huge with multiple floors and with lots of saunas and different spas for an affordable price, one of the best onsens.

Felt like this area was more of a shopping and eating, I guess it depended where your hotel was located. Our hotel was located more near anime character retailers and places to eat and close (21 min) walk to lots of shopping streets. Most of the people working at the retail shops were really friendly and helpful, even the ones in Hep 5 area. We did run into our share of rude locals and a rude racist tourist especially little children. Bad behavior include pushing and cutting us in line even though clearly there is a line of people present.

We fell in love with Osaka on our first visit in spring...

We fell in love with Osaka on our first visit in spring that's why we booked a second trip this winter. It's a perfect mix of culture and technology. We had great meal everywhere we eat, whether it's ramen, rice bowl, or street foods. The locals are very polite and they try their best to communicate. Trying to get around is easy. The train system is a little bit confusing and daunting at first, but easy once you understand the system. Just follow the signs and use Google Map. Getting to nearby areas like Nara, Kyoto and Kobe is just a train ride away.
