Nonna Milli is a recently renovated homestay in Matsumoto where guests can make the most of the free bikes and garden. The interior of the house was well kept and beautiful. The breakfast provided was delicious and just what we needed to start the day. Our Japanese was very limited so having the owner have great English was also very nice. Having stayed on tatami mats elsewhere throughout our trip it was also nice to be provided some extra padding as an option as I tend not to be super comfortable on regular ones. Overall it would have been nice to stay longer but the time we had with Elia was great!
