Set in Wajima in the Ishikawa region, GUESTHOUSE UMENOYA offers accommodation with free private parking. Staff were very helpful, although I don't think they spoke much English. There's a noodle place that's part of the business which made for a nice dinner, although isn't listed on Google maps. I had a single room which was comfy and warm. Very clean, building looks brand new, comfy lounge that also functions as a co-working area. Soundproofing was bad to nonexistent but I found it wasn't an issue during my stay. They also give you a free voucher to a local onsen roughly a 10 minute walk away, I used it and the onsen was very nice.

Situated in Nanao and only 1.1 km from Notojima Glass Art Museum, 能登島ゲストハウスうたたね features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Loved the location, perfect for a slow holiday. Host was very accommodating and provided enough privacy even though it was a guesthouse. I enjoyed the design of the rooms and the easy access to the beautiful view of the Noto sea.

ゲストハウス黒島, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Wajima, 34 km from Shiroyone Senmaida, 48 km from Notojima Glass Art Museum, as well as 37 km from Twin Bridge Noto. Although the aftermath of the 2024 earthquake is still very present, Kuroshima is gradually reviving. One example is this guest house. The host is quite pleasant, and the amenities are excellent. Obviously, the location is the cherry on top.

A hot rock sauna room plus normal sauna excellent. Infinity outdoor hot onsen views wonderful . Food excellent… suggest a 15 minute delay on starting to allow for the rush! Great views, free drinks, snacks, snow freeze in foyer such a nice touch . We upgraded to a room with a shower but loved the onsen for evenings. Would return and disregard bad reviews…. We kiwis loved it .

Located just 38 km from Shiroyone Senmaida, Noto Hyakurakusou features accommodation in Ogi with access to an open-air bath, a garden, as well as a lift. The staff spoke good english and were extemely helpful. The food included in the half board price served in private dining areas was amazingly well presented traditional Japanese food. That looked and tasted out of this world. Some of the best food we had on our trip to Japan and we stayed in several expensive Ryokan. Lovely private or public outdoor onsen or in a subterranean cave. The Noto peninsular is still recovering from the earthquake of Jan 2024 and the terrible flooding in Sept 2024 but a trip there is well worthwhile to see the scenery and see how well the repairs are progressing
