I stayed in a twin room, and it was very spacious for a Japanese hotel. There was a desk, a couple comfortable chairs and table, and a large bath and shower. The staff was helpful and friendly, and complementary sake is offered upon arrival in the lobby.

The staff weere very friendly and sensible. I told them that I was celebrating my partner's birthday on that day beforehand, and they generously upgraded our room that had a lovely view of Kobe Harbour. All the facilities were clean and modern. The location was perfect too.

There were no toothbrushes, slippers or a series of other supplies when we checked in. There were also many problems with the check-in procedures. They gave me the wrong password, which caused us to stay at the door for two hours without getting the key. No one solved the problem for us.

Το Kobe Minato Onsen Ren απέχει 5 λεπτά με ταξί από τους σταθμούς Sannomiya και Motomachi και προσφέρει ποικιλία από ιαματικά λουτρά, εξωτερική πισίνα με ιαματικά λουτρά που λειτουργεί όλο το χρόνο,... The price is high, but you can expect a lot. The hotel rooms were great. You could choose if you prefer to sleep in big comfy western beds or prefered a Japanese futon instead (there were two rooms, so enough space to get the futons out). Maybe prepare a bit in advance, so that you know what´s going on, because the English introduction at reception is a bit shorter than the Japanese one, but the staff is always really helpful and can answer your questions. Breakfast and diner were both included and were fantastic. The sushi cook in the evening was so helpful and we tried 2-3 different sort of fish we never had before. And all the other dishes were great, too. Don´t forget to stop in time, so that there is still room for dessert ;o) The onsen on the roof is wonderful. You have an excellent night view and can see the beautiful harbour area. There is an onsen for women and one for men. First there is a big room where you undress and put your clothes in little baskets. Then there is a shower room followed by a pool, a whirlpool and the lovely onsen. And if you want to spend around 200 Yen extra, don´t forget to visit the room with the massage chairs. They are amazing.

Kobe Marriott Hotel offers spacious modern accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy the spacious public bath for a discounted price or request relaxing in-room massages. Very spacious rooms. Great for families with kids. Location was great. Easy access to train station and the mall across the street. There's also some shopping in the same building as the hotel.
