The hosts (the lady and her son) were super friendly and was quick to answer all questions. The place was within walking distance from Almaty Airport. Shops are nearby and the bus stop was only a 10-minute walk away. The place was super comfy with a kitchen and a bedroom. Internet connection was super fast.

A eprson actually came and picked me up from the airport. And since my plane was late, this was in the middle of the night. Kudos to him for doing this.

Very friendly, helpful and accommodating owners! We’ve been traveling with a small child, they made sure we had everything we need for comfortable stay. Apartment is located close to the airport and you can get to cafes and food store by crossing the road. There are plenty playgrounds if you travel with kids ☺️
Property itself was very clean, freshly upgraded as everything looked new and was in excellent state.
We’ve been staying is several apartments by the airport, this one was absolutely the best one.
We will definitely book it again for our next trip. Highly recommend 👍🏻

Almaty International Airport (ALA) Information
Location and Transport
Almaty International Airport is situated 11 miles (18 kilometres) from central Almaty. A taxi from the airport will cost around KZT 3,000 but you’ll need to negotiate a price beforehand as there are no meters. A cheaper option is to take a bus with lines 79, 86, 92 and 106 operating during the day, and Line 3 operating during the night. Journeys take around 40 minutes and tickets can be purchased from the driver.

Almaty is a beautiful city with breathtaking views of the mountains. Everything we did there was fabulous- from the cable car ride at Shambulek to the big Almaty Lake and the waterfall close to it- was breathtakingly beautiful. One feels like they are in heaven at the lake- it is high up in the clouds- serene, quiet, calm and lovely- an unmissable experience for sure. I found nothing negative about the place- the people are friendly, the food scene is great, and the place is beautiful. If anything at all, not a lot of the population speak English, therefore, communication is a little difficult- but then we all struggle with language at some point or other. Overall, I would recommend Almaty as a destination for anyone wishing to visit a cold country with snow...I reckon it will be still as beautiful with a different colour palatte in the summer months!!

Loved Almaty.
Loved Almaty. Mixture of Asia and Europe, lots of cafes and museums, very clean, spacious and leafy avenues, Special atmosphere. Lovely architecture, the green market was great. Kok Tobe was a lot of fun!

Aside from the nice views of nature, Kazakhs are very nice people. Some may not speak English, but they tried to help the tourist the best they can. The Koslai and the Shymbulak Ski Resort were my favorite places to go, so relaxing staying in those places! Navat Restaurant food are so delicious, i enjoyed a lot.
