The staff (Roshani) was absolutely fantastic… very gracious, helpful and always a smile :) The owner, Ahmed, went above and beyond! Assisted with many questions and booked my boat to and from Male. Very helpful. Thimarafushi is a small, quiet island for relaxation, and snorkeling day trips.

The main advantage is Finimas staff, Ahmed did something special to arrange the best experience being on Thimarafushi island. Fresh fish and lobsters, cooking with captain Vishal, introduction into local life, perfect coffee from Ahmed's friend. The private beach is remote, but we had no problems with its visiting, as hotel provides bikes. It was quite romantic at night

Our suite was very spaceous, comfortable, clean and modern. Looks exacly like in advertised pictures. Hotel has a small gym, SPA room, nice leisure area where you can play ping pong, table pool, some other games. On the rooftop there is a large terrace if you want to relax in hamak with the nice areal view of the island, watch a colorful maldivien sunset or drink a cup of tea and read a book. Hotel has a private beach just a few minutes away. Also hotel owns a private island nearby, so if you want to spend a day on the postcard worthy beach it's the place for you. There are free bikes for guest use - if you want to explore island, or ride to the private beach. However the biggest treasure in this hotel is its staff. They will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Everyone is genuinely friendly, very polite and helpfull. Hospitality begins even before arrival to Timarafushi island. In Male, upon arrival, you will be met by hotel representative and everything will be aranged for you - transfers, hotel in Male (if you need one in transfer), flights, speedboats - basicaly whatever you need. You just book the room, send your arrival/departure to/from Male info and you can go straight on holiday mode :) Special shout out to Ameen - you do a great job! Everyday from this hotel you can go on a boat trip - snorkeling, diving, nearby island, private island with sand bank, to watch the dolphins, you can have beach barbeque - all will be aranged by hotel staff. Prices for the trips ar very reasonable too. Overall we had a very nice holiday and hope to come back soon again! Thank you to each and everyone at Mikado!

Το Rahaa Resort Maldives έχει αίθουσα γυμναστικής, ιδιωτική παραλία, βεράντα και μπαρ, στον προορισμό Laamu. Good food Resort is new, large room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, terrace with sofa Daily free snorkeling excursions, water sports staff is nice However: Not much of a beach, except in front of the bar; beach is in the shadow in the afternoon. Weak wifi. Lots of corals that hurt the feet, shoes are necessary, seaweed in the afternoon (see pictures). Unsuitable for swimming: shallow water - ankle-deep at low tide and waist-deep at high tide. There is a manmade swimming channel in front of the bar, quite limited. Therefore, the only snorkeling possible is through an excursion. We tried swimming in the lake, but the water is very warm there, it’s like swimming in a bathtub and in addition the water is dirty (see pictures). There is a pipe bringing the sewage of the hotel to the open ocean from behind the port, you can even see it on the satellite if you look closely. Depending on tide/current, this water comes back into the lake. Apart from lack of beach/swimming, the worst was the transfer issues and the complete disregard of customers.
