We needed somewhat to stay close to the airport because of the road blocks happening. It was a good location and the facilities are great. There was even a hot tub in the room which was a nice surprise! Highly recommended!

Community is gated.

Community is gated. The security guard is very diligent, so I felt safe as a female alone. The apartment was clean for the most part. The area around the stove was very greasy. The light in the kitchen didn't work. The spiral staircase is open, has no rails and is not safe for children. On the second floor, the staircase is just a hole so you have to be very sure footed. The photos don't show that part. There was a good bit of construction noise. There was a microwave on a little table, but no plug nearby to plug it in. There was an old extension cord laying on top of it, but it was only two prong, and the microwave was 3 prong. Had to move the microwave over and put it on the stove for the plug to reach. It was probably good by Mexican standards, but lacking by American standards. It was adequate for one night, and I've certainly had way worse in Mexico. It's just a different standard.

The Holiday Inn, we stayed at after a late flight, is part of the Felipe Angeles airport, the main airport of Mexico City for domestic flights. It is 45 minutes by taxi from the center of Mexico City. Taxis in Mexico City are excessively expensive, and sometimes charge fraudulent rates. Using Uber is a better option, but at airports they aren't allowed (on federal property). Perhaps a hotel somewhat more distant from the airport would be a good solution: a short trip with regular taxi, then Uber from the hotel to downtown or to the International airport (Benito Juarez).

This is a clean Holiday Inn and well appointed.

This is a clean Holiday Inn and well appointed. Staff is great! Great location right next to the airport and very easy to walk to the airport. It is not a hotel you want to stay in for a week. It is a hotel that is perfect for an overnight stay on your way to somewhere else. It is the only hotel next to the airport and this airport is way out of downtown Mexico City.

The pyramids are timeless.

The pyramids are timeless. The town is nice, but not exceptional. Tourist services are mostly bad. The magnetism, the greatness and the ancient will always be above whatever temporal inconveniences you may find on top. It’s Unbelievable to see an actual Pyramid!

It’s Unbelievable to see an actual Pyramid! The experience of seeing these pyramids and the temples is not the same as watching them from you living and watching it on your TV! But because of the pandemic no one was allowed to climb up the pyramids, we were disappointed. However, were able to stand next to it watched it touch it and take videos and pictures! We walked around for more than a mile and even though it was a long hike and a lot of walking l, it was tiring, but it was really really worth it and a a scenic wonder!!! I want to do it all over again!!!
