Etango Ranch Guest Farm is situated just 10 minutes' drive away from Windhoek International Airport in a rural property. - very near the airport, ideal if you have an early flight - super friendly staff, they suggested us a nice little hike - nice food (contrary to what we read in the reviews) - all in all good experience

Prior to my arrival, Gerda was kind enough to book a morning outing for me that I was struggling to find information on. Nikki was waiting for me on arrival, check in was simple and easy, and my room was ready and waiting for me. The meals are excellent but remember to save room for dessert - you will not be disappointed! Grounds are lovely and the views from my room were stunning. I had arrived a few days before the rest of my group and couldn’t have picked a more welcoming, relaxing place to recharge and adjust to the time difference. To top it off, on my last morning I was treated to visits by waterbucks and kudos at the waterhole near my room.

Three big bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, plus an upstairs with a big table and a patio where we could watch birds and the occasional mammal. The food was great, huge portions or big buffet. It’s on a part of the game reserve with no dangerous animals so you can walk around safely. We saw ostriches, antelopes, hyrax and hare while walking or looking out our window. It’s part of a nonprofit that’s working to preserve and protect animals while working with the local community. We did the “Behind the scenes tour” which was really interesting and fun, loved the baboon walk! Really glad we stayed here!
