The hotel was only a 5 minute walk from the airport which was great as we had a very early flight. The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant and bar were excellent our evening meal was delicious and it was located on the top floor with great views of the planes taking off and landing. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

As it's very close to the airport, this is convenient place to stay if you've recently arrived after a long-haul flight and need a day to recover. It's located adjacent to an excellent cafe and a little strip mall with a grocery store and a few other restaurants, so you can easily recharge and stock up before you head off to explore the South Island. The hotel itself is very nice, and I paid a little extra to get the breakfast buffet the next morning, which was delicious. Staff was incredibly friendly, highly recommend.
