It was a real privilege to be able to spend two nights at this fantastic location. Our hut was very comfortable and the nearby shared kitchen and bathroom hut was well equipped. Our host Alana was very welcoming and provided lots of useful information. We spent a lovely day at the station doing the nearby suggested walks and were lucky enough to watch the early morning clouds lift and get a view later on of Mount Cook. The clear skies on our second night afforded us a great view of the Milky Way. By the way, the gravel road up to the station is by no means difficult to negotiate and the end result is most definitely worth it.

Definitely worth the drive, even though it takes you on a long gravel-road adventure.

Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. The view from the accommodation is so stunning—peaceful and surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing. The place is comfortable, with a cozy bed, a jacuzzi, and cooking facilities. The location is close to trekking spots, including the White Horse Hill Campground, the starting point of the Hooker Valley Track.

Set in Mount Cook National Park, a range of accommodation including motel rooms and lodge rooms are on offer at Mt Cook Lodge and Motels. The meals were delicious - custom made by the staff and great value for the price. Staff were lovely - super welcoming and flexible. Great location for those interested in hiking Mt Sunday. Highly recommended!
