I love the wooden architecture—it reminds me of home. The lighting and furniture are a bit outdated, but that’s what makes this place nostalgic. I especially love the lighting; it can be dimmed to create a cozy, ambient feel. The staff were very accommodating and flexible. Since we were leaving the following morning, they let us use our breakfast passes for dinner instead, at $10 per pass. This hotel was definitely a retreat—I’d recommend coming back next time.

We loved that it was tucked away a few miles from downtown Koror. Jerome and Godiva go above and beyond starting with communication before arrival. We stayed for 10 nights and they helped with booking tours, taxis, car rentals etc. It was the perfect home away from home for exploring Palau. Thank you!

One of the most hospitable places I have ever stayed! From the moment I was picked up at the airport, Leo, Josh, Elmer and co were always a kind, friendly face to see during my time at Shell Villa. Honestly I felt like I had personal assistants taking care of me. I don't know of any resorts where members of staff are willing to drive you around and make sure that you're able to get onto different tours or get anything you need. I slept like a log every night, the bedroom and bathroom were very spacious. It really felt like a guesthouse and it was a very affordable price compared to other accommodation in Palau.
