Set in a charming mid-1800s estate just 5 km from central Växjö, Öjaby Herrgård is a peaceful retreat only 2 minutes' drive from Växjö-Småland Airport. The hotel is located a nice and quite place and the receptionist was nice and kind. I liked the dayroom where there was access to free coffee/the and cookies.

We were a family of four, and since I’m originally from Växjö, I knew the location was fantastic. The place had everything we needed, and Keenan and his wife went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The pool was amazing, and the jacuzzi was an added bonus! It is located in Anders' big and beautiful garden and is only 2 minutes walking away from the lakeside. It was extremely quiet and we felt like in our own little world. The house had a tiny, but fully equipped kitchen, so we could prepare our own food. Handing over of the keys was smooth and easy too, we just provided our arrival time. Anders was very friendly and helpful.
