I visited Tajikistan for the first time, and stayed at Atlas hotel Dushanbe. I booked this hotel through booking.com, and found it very convenient for everything. They offered very diverse breakfast, free laundry, high speed internet, very professional, hospitable, and helpful staff, who supported to understand the nearby areas, calling taxi, suggesting nearest places to visit, even helped to exchange foreign currency etc. So I would highly recommend this hotel.

a very nice, new, spacious, comfortable and extremely clean apartment in a high rise residential building on one of the main shopping streets of dushanbe. excellent system of lights in the apartment, so even kitchen where there is no window can be perfectly lit. beautiful ''persian'' carpets. spacious, modern bathroom. high quality furniture and household appliances. big kitchen table ideal for office work if you need with your laptop on your travels. the host (bakhtiyor) is a great and very helpful gentleman. a big supermarket (no alcohol) around the corner (including the outside cash machine to withdraw somoni with your mastercard). 30 mins walk to the very centre of the city (rudaki park). a very short distance to the airport - and a taxi costs 1 - 1.5 eur). i really loved the apartment and will come back there on my next trip to dushanbe which i found to be a really nice and peaceful city worth re-visiting.

Hotel Dehlavi is the place to be if you're in Dushanbe. The building is elegant, clean and provides all the services you'd expect from a high-quality hotel (but with standard prices). The location is not far either from the airport and from the city center. The guys at the reception are extremely welcoming and always keen to provide any kind of assistance you may need. The suite is huge and has a real charme. I definitively recommended it.

When I arrived, I turned on my cell phone and it said, welcome to the Russian Federation. My T-mobile service did not work the entire time I was visiting. I downloaded a google map. I walked at least ten thousand steps every day. I enjoy the waterfalls, the flowers the monuments and the roses. Not too many people speak English here. I experienced diarrhea twice with squat toilets. The best view of the mountains was after it rained. Am I glad I visited? Yes. Check out the parks.

Soro Hotel is a very relaxing place to stay in Dushanbe and enjoy a bit of comfort after completing the Pamir Highway. My room was clean, looked very new and the bed linen smelled really good and fresh, I loved that. The people are super friendly and helpful, I got great, home made food and even a ride to the airport. I absolutely recommend.

The hostel is a newly established property with all facilities available. Most importantly the property was clean and comfortable. The manager, Mr. Ravshan takes special care of his guests. He was kind enough to give me a personal tour of nearby places in Dushanbe and guided me on which places to see. We had a good time together, had food and gossip together. Definitely recommended for all travellers. Good value for money. One Hostel is more of a hotel than a hostel.
