The room was clean..but my husband complained of no hot water after I showered...also the WiFi was kinda unstable...hope they get a better service provider.
And even though my husband slept throught the night peacefully...I could hardly sleep because of the very loud music from their roof top ishaazi bar...I swear..the night of the marathon should be peace and quiet.
Other than that...I strongly recommend...it's very strategically located.
Services are good...n the room is ok...only let them.put a fridge..

Our stay was excellent because of the staff. Very friendly on check-in and whilst we were eating at the restaurant. The wait staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent humble place to stay up in the mountains near the Rwenzori. Alexander and Ferdinand are two very friendly people being. Ferdinand is a very good cook and you are able to eat local dishes there. If you have a 4WD vehicle it is possible to drive up the hill. The driver should be good in driving in the mountains. You can park your car right under the site and Alexander can organize a watchman to keep your car safe. Everyone around this place is very friendly and the local community is awesome. It is definitely a original African place where you can sleep in Bandas. There is a shower and a toilet which you can use. They also offer a lot of activities around the local area. We did the hike to the waterfall and Alexander gave us many and interesting informations about the area. We also talked for many hours one night. Very lovely place with very lovely hosts.

My friend and I just spent five days trekking in the Rwenzori Mountains, and the night before we set off, we stayed with Felix and his family. It was a wonderful experience—they prepared delicious food for us, getting us ready for the journey ahead. They woke up early to serve us a fantastic breakfast. Staying with a local family in the village gave us an authentic Ugandan experience. Felix and his family are incredibly kind and welcoming, and he is doing remarkable work in the community. He's also very knowledgeable.
We stayed with them again last night, arriving around 9:30 PM after a long, exhausting day of trekking. Nothing was too much trouble—they heated water for us to bathe, made a hearty, delicious meal late at night, and prepared an amazing breakfast this morning. It was also lovely spending time with their beautiful daughter. I highly recommend staying with them to anyone visiting the village.
