I was disappointed with how the hotel runs their breakfasts. For price paid the continental was very weak. There were additional charges if you wanted eggs, bacon, sausage...$14.95? Most hotels include this in there continental.
Coffee was not kept up at the station, and I being a tea drinker, not coffee, had to ask for tea. The staff member running the breakfast was probably overwhelmed and seemed a bit snippy.

I recently stayed at this vacation rental in South Bend, and it far exceeded all expectations. From the moment I booked, the host was absolutely fantastic — available 24/7, incredibly responsive, and always ready to help with anything I needed.
The location is ideal. It’s very close to the Notre Dame campus and the shuttle access is super convenient — perfect if you don’t want to worry about driving or parking.
The space itself was immaculate, beautifully furnished, and had everything I needed. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, full kitchen, and thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel homey and high‑end.
Communication was flawless; any small question or request was handled immediately. The host’s attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the stay feel personal and worry‑free.
Overall, this was an exceptional stay — excellent value, perfect location, and a host who truly cares. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone visiting South Bend / Notre Dame, and I would absolutely stay here again.

One lamp didn’t work clock/radio didn’t work. Room smelled like smoke. Sheets were dirty. Screaming kids half the night in hallways. Tv only worked half the time. What a nightmare

Niles is a quaint little town definitely growing lots to be done in Niles. Of course it’s not hard to love, Fernwood. That place is fabulous. Also the concerts in the park, Farmer’s market the burn run the different shops downtown the many different eats. Then you have the Riverwalk with your Choice of riding bicycles or walking. And of course you got theater and brew pubs And specialty shops we can’t Leave out the water activities There’s always a lot going on ,a variety of eats all of which are equally good. When in Niles You must add a trip to Good enough pub On Thursday you gotta get those wings and you gotta meet that rocking server Danielle you won’t regret the experience.

Plenty to see and do in area. Nice county parks nearby and plenty things to do; miniature golf, good variety of shopping places and restaurants including "The Chief" a special incream place.

St. Patrick's County Park was an awesome park with lots to do for the kids, we even hiked a bit down to the river. Notre Dame was not to far also and very nice to be able to walk around the campus as its open to the public. Strikes & Spares Entertainment Center was great fun for the kids and adults, we did mini putt and go karts. Chic-fil-a was very nice, clean and kids loved it. The lady at the counter let the girls go in back so they could make their own ice cream cones.

Niles is my hometown and I enjoy returning to visit family and friends. Niles needs awesome hotels to accommodate those of us who enjoy returning to our hometown for which we love. Hoping the cleaning staff will improve on their consistency in servicing the rooms. It wasn't during my stay, unfortunately.

I would not recommend this hotel. When I booked four rooms at this hotel, your sit states pay when you arrive and free cancellation up until 24 hours before booking date,
Two weeks before a our trip the hotel manager called and stated that if the rooms were not paid in full by that day at 6:00 we would loose our reservations. He also stated there was no free cancellation
Upon arrival at the hotel he had not registered the rooms in my friends names, they all remained in my name. Three of the four rooms were on the second floor (no elevator)
The rooms were mostly clean but badly in need of updating
The final problem was Sunday morning while we were packing the cars for departure the hotel deactivated all room keys . WE could not get back into our room to retrieve our belongs. It should be noted this was done at 9:00AM- well before the check out time

This was a well done room.
This was a well done room. It was a good size with good handicaped accessability. We had no trouble with my wife's service dog here as has happened at other places. In fact they seemed to be dog friendly in general. We didn't use any of the other facilities though I did note the pool was closed. Overall it was a nice overnight stop.
