The hotel is just a few minutes walk away from the airport terminal, allowing easy access for an early departure or late arrival. My room was comfortable and quiet. I enjoyed my lunch at the Quills restaurant. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Protea Hotel by Marriott O R Tambo Airport is situated in Kempton Park, 3.5 km from the O.R Tambo International Airport and and 1 km from the Rhodesfield Gautrain Station. Super nice place to stay after a long flight. The staff at the restaurant really went all out to make us comfortable and feeling welcome.

Dove’s Nest is located less than 2 km from OR Tambo Airport and offers a free airport shuttle. It offers a breakfast room overlooking the garden and spacious guest rooms. I am rating this from the perspective of a one-night stay, very convenient, close-to-airport for travellers that are needing an overnight transfer at JNB Tambo airport. It was clean, low-priced, included rides from/to airport, and breakfast. The staff was honest and helpful.

Breakfast included and if you leave earlier than 7am they provide a breakfast to go. Hot water, affordable prices for lunch and dinner. Would recommend!

Airport Inn offers a free shuttle service to and from OR Tambo International Airport, 4 km away. The staff was friendly and so welcoming. Big up to the driver who was on duty that day, he made my trip easy and very accommodating. Same applies to the receptionist she was a lovely person, would obviously come back.
