Cumin restaurant and it’s staff where absolutely fabulous.

We spent two nights in a garden villa at Kandooma at the end of a two-week stay in the Maldives and absolutely loved it (after a week on a small liveaboard and a second week on a lovely local island). Kandooma’s pool was massive and fantastic, the surrounding waters and beach were stunning, the breakfast buffet was sumptuous, beach bar cocktails were delicious and the food in the restaurants was tasty, particularly at Bokkurra Coffee Club. Staff were attentive and hard working and the island is kept clean and pristine. It had all the facilities we could ask for, at a lower price than the more expensive resort islands. The resort’s speedboat transfer cost was USD$150 each return (a little over 30 mins in calm conditions), and was more comfortable than a standard speedboat experience. We would love to have spent a little longer at this gorgeous place.

The staff was very friendly and the buffet at the restaurant was amazing. We loved snorkeling and scuba diving at the reefs around the island.

The breakfast spread at SAii Lagoon Maldives was nothing short of extraordinary. There were countless options to choose from, catering to every palate and dietary preference. The freshly baked pastries, tropical fruits, made-to-order omelettes and crepes, and the fresh guava juice were just a few highlights of the mouthwatering breakfast buffet. The attentive and friendly staff made sure that every guest had a delightful start to their day, leaving no room for disappointment. The location of the resort is a true slice of paradise. Nestled in the crystal-clear waters of the Maldives, SAii Lagoon offers breathtaking views that will leave you in awe. The pristine white sandy beaches and the vibrant coral reefs right at your doorstep make it a haven for nature enthusiasts and beach lovers. Whether you choose to relax on the beach or explore the underwater world, you'll find yourself immersed in pure serenity and beauty. Being a mere 15-minute boat ride away from the airport was a major plus. Cleanliness is of the utmost importance to me when choosing accommodation, and SAii Lagoon Maldives excelled in this aspect. The entire resort was immaculately maintained, from the rooms to the public areas. The housekeeping staff took great pride in their work, ensuring that every corner was spotless and every detail was attended to. This commitment to cleanliness truly elevated the overall experience, making me feel comfortable and at ease throughout my stay. Having said all of that, I will just add that the staff at SAii Lagoon Maldives were the true stars of the resort. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the personalized service throughout my stay, every staff member went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued guest.

unreal experience, having a pool in the room made a huge difference. the villas are perfect, the food was incredible, I’ve been twice to the Maldives and this was a huge step up.
