It'been a great and relaxing week at the Portofino resort in Marsa Alam. Staff are really nice and reception always available to help. The animation team is fun and engafing, with activities at all times. There are also many restaurants for all the tastes. Eventually, pools are great and sea is just wonderful with plenty of fishes!

Located along its own private beach, Gemma Resort offers views over the Red Sea. It features indoor and outdoor pools, and wellness centre. Several restaurants and bars are also available. Our stay at Gemma Resort was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we felt like VIPs, welcomed with cold drinks and warm hospitality. The check-in process was seamless, with the receptionist providing all necessary information in a calm and professional manner. We opted for a family room with an all-inclusive package, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with a fridge stocked daily with water and beverages. The air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring comfort throughout our stay. One of the biggest highlights was the food quality. Each day offered a variety of fresh and flavorful options, with excellent dishes served at the main restaurants as well as by the pool and beach. From authentic pizza and sandwiches to sweet treats and snacks, everything was top-notch. The drinks were equally impressive—no watered-down cocktails here! Generous pours of quality alcohol, great coffee, and fantastic wine reflected the resort’s dedication to excellence. The resort itself feels like a picturesque village, full of serene corners to relax and lively areas for entertainment. Multiple pools, beautiful hidden spots, and a well-thought-out layout make it an ideal destination for those looking to unwind. If there’s one thing that truly sets Gemma Resort apart, it’s the staff. They treat guests as people, not as walking ATMs—something truly priceless. There’s no sense of obligation to tip, yet their service is so genuine that we felt happy to do so at the end of our stay. Their warmth and professionalism made our experience even more special. During our visit in mid-February, the resort was peaceful, not overcrowded, and the weather was pleasant, albeit a bit windy at times. We noticed that many guests were returning visitors, mostly from Italy (about 90%). Gemma Resort exceeded all expectations, offering top-tier hospitality, fantastic food, and a relaxing environment.

Friendly staff, great location, modern design, great facilities, wonderful beach. We’ve got room upgrade for free, welcome fruits and bar filled with refreshing drinks in both rooms we’ve booked. Our flight landed early in the morning and we’ve received early check in, which was really convenient after long way to Egypt( we’ve spent in total 24 hours to get from home to the hotel). The rooms were really very clean, spacious, very light and with all the necessary facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Just one day in the morning we had to ask for drinks 3 times and waited for them more than 20 minutes. But this incident hasn’t spoiled our vacations. The food in the main restaurant was really delicious. Everything tasted perfectly. Thanks for this to all the cooks. Also drinks we ordered in the bars were of good quality. We visited fish a la carte restaurant -the girl in the reception Mira refused to book one more a la carte restaurant though during our check in we were informed that we may visit two a la carte restaurants. The atmosphere in fish restaurant was really great as well as service. Free transfer to and from the airport was very helpful. The van was clean and comfortable, the driver was pleasant and helpful. We had early check out due to early flight and missed the breakfast. If the hotel organized breakfast to go it would be great but we didn’t get it. Despite some small issues I would definitely come back to this hotel once more. Hope to do it in autumn.

Το Casa Mare Resort - ex, Royal Tulip Beach Resort βρίσκεται κοντά στο Port Ghalib, 42χλμ. από το Marsa Alam. Food was really tasty and the taste was really close to europe cuisine. The whole concept is really beautiful and well organized. Mr. Hamid front office employee was available for us 24/7 with really kind and proffesional approach. There was also Slovenian speaking Ms. Laura, she was amazing, helpful and available for us 24/7. I was In more than 100 hotels already and Casa Mare Resort is one of those hotels which I would definitely recommend.

Seemingly part of the natural environment between sandy mountains and deepest blue seas is the Mövenpick Resort El Quseir. Everything was beyond beautiful and my stay exceeded my expectations. The Staff are super friendly and very kind including the Staff at the reception, housekeeping and the beach. Mostafa our activities guide, he was so much fun and knowledgeable of the area since he is from El Quseir City. We went City Biking and morning exploring Walk, both were amazing. The suite was modernly furnished, very cozy and warm. The beach is super clean with crystal clear water. I truly had a great relaxing stay exactly as i was dreaming of. I can’t wait to go back again next year.
