Insotel Punta Prima Resort features free bikes, seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and garden in Punta Prima. Needs updating and generally fixing back to the standard it probably once was. Overall it was good but I wouldn't rate 5* as suggested, there are better 4* places that I've stayed

Club Cales de Ponent offers charming apartments with private balcony, 100 metres from Santandria Beach. Friendly staff who gave us all the information we needed, Fantastic breakfast with lots of choice and great location. The apartment had everything we needed, the kitchen was well equipped, towels were changed every two days, and it was peaceful and quiet at night. We also liked the pool, which was always clean and at a pleasant temperature. We will definitely be back.

Located on Menorca’s south coast, Hotel Valentin Son Bou is set on a hill overlooking the beautiful Son Bou Beach. It offers indoor and outdoor pools and air-conditioned rooms with a balcony. Loved the overall feel of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Large pool area and plenty of options for food or drinks around the hotel. Was a very relaxing stay and the bus to and from the beach was a plus as it is a very steep walk back!

This lively holiday complex is designed for families and is located just 200 metres from southern Minorca’s Cala Canutells beach. Was a nice resort, with extensive facilities and enough to cover all guests. The breakfast specially was absolutely wonderful, a huge huge spread.

There are people hired here that really know how to make a difference. Davi, from the reception, has a clear idea about how to treat the guest. He's been more than welcoming and willing to help. We've also had the chance to meet Bernie, from the Breakfast buffet. It's been a pleasure to start the day and run to Bernie, always smiling, offering quick solutions to any inconvenience and adapting his language to every host that arrived. "Human service" makes this incredible place, a better option.

Just 400 metres from the beach, MarSenses Paradise Club Hotel features a tennis court, 2 swimming pools. Perfect holiday location for a family with young kids. The animators were very friendly and enthusiastic. They made our kids feel comfortable and excited about the activities. There was always something to do. Both the kids and 'adult' swimming pools were very nice and spacious. The rooms are tidy and equipped with all the necessities. At a certain point, one of the televisions stopped working, and the staff installed a brand new one within minutes after notifying the reception. Top!

The adults-only Barceló Hamilton is 10 km from Punta Prima Beach in Mahon's natural harbour. This modern hotel offers 2 outdoor pools with 6 hot tubs, a small gym and wellness centre. The food was very good. Also the hotel had jacuzzis on the rooftop! The guest experience manager Paloma was very nice and arranged everything we expected and more!

AluaSun Mediterraneo are apartments offering sea views and access to a swimming pool and furnished terraces. Very friendly staff and helpful at all times
