Serviced Apartments in Mindo

Lovely, large and modern apartment, which was spotlessly clean, in an excellent, quiet location near Mindo town centre. It is in a safe and secure complex, looked after by the manager Ronny, who was really lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he was always around to let us in or out, including for our early morning starts for bird watching trips at 5am! We had the "family apartment with balcony" which provided a relaxing private sitting area, overlooking the peaceful inner courtyard, which has a small pool. The apartment also had a kitchen with a 4 gas burners, a microwave oven and large fridge freezer, as well as flatware, and a few cooking pans and utensils. The kitchen was very handy for us to prepare meals, although the complex does offer breakfasts to purchase. In Mindo, there is a mini-market 5 minutes walk from the hotel which sells a good range of food and alcohol, and many other shops as well.

Beautiful location! We weren't sure from the map if the road went to the cabin, but it did. (The road goes past the cabin location to the cable cars.) We hiked on the very nice property paths every day (one goes to the river and another leads to a waterfall) and enjoyed being immersed in nature. It was about a 10 minute drive to town. The host German was very friendly and helpful!
