There is underground garage, very safe for the car, which costs around 6 euros per night. There is security in front of the residence. It is in a quiet area, 20 minutes of walking to the city center. Restaurants and shops near the residence. Everything is perfect!

Flavia and Florian run a very tight ship at One88. I was impressed with how they treat their guests -- almost like family -- and they truly go out of their way to ensure that all of your needs and expectations are met to the letter. They have great contacts and are willing to share theirs as the situation arises. Poor Florian! -- I kept returning him with ever-increasing requests and zany asks, but nothing was too big for the guy to handle and no challenge appeared to be insurmountable. And during my time there, I certainly had some wild asks! Loved the fact you can reach out to the managers of the place by WhatsApp or text and that they are so tech-savvy and available at practically all hours of the day. My arrival at One88 was greeted by Florian himself -- IN THE FLESH, BAYBEE! -- coming down the elevator and helping me check-in, even though it was almost 01:30am! He wanted to make sure that I could access my deluxe flat okay, and those sorts of the gestures are the difference makers for me, with massive value-add. The beds are super comfortable and the furniture is well-appointed, and I made use out of all of the items in my flat. Love that the shower has a strong current and that you have multiple functionality in there. Major find (thank you Florian!) -- BOLT and BOLT FOOD. I was able to completely kit out and stock my fridge with items at all hours of the day -- I was dreading having to schlepp tons of grocery bags and bottles over blocks to get the items that I wanted but all of that was at my fingertips. Loved that aspect. When I closed my door I had total privacy and serenity and that's precisely what I look for when I travel. There is no question where I'm staying next time I'm back in Bucharest and I will recommend this location to all of my contacts and friends, even my Romanian ones who come in from out of town.

Embassy Romana is a very well located self-service (no reception) hotel that is extremely clean, very quiet, and has spacious well-decorated rooms, comfortable beds, and a very convenient Nespresso coffee machines in the rooms. The office staff is receptive, and at my request, allowed me to stay in the same suite for the two additional time periods that I extended my stay there. Great job, Camelia! Other big pluses are refrigerators in the rooms, individual temperature controls in the living area and bedroom (if you have a deluxe room), flat screeen TVs, lots of closet space and spacious desks where you can fully open your luggage. Location is perfect...the Piata Romana subway station is right outside your door, and there are many coffee shops and eating venues at your doorstep. You are also just a short walk across the street from the Amezi neighborhood, with many different places to eat, two pharmacies, and two supermarkets (Mega Image), and a very popular patisserie. You are also very close to Calea Victoriei, one of the main boulevards, with many restaurants. bars, major tourist sights and three excellent ice cream/gelato shops. Anothet plus...spacious walk-in rainwater showets in the rooms. Embassy Romana will be my first go-to hotel for all future trips to Bucharest.
