It was tucked away a couple of miles off the main road with spectacular distant views over the black forest areas. Fabulous sunsets, peaceful and quiet with cows grazing next to the property. We were two couples traveling through Europe and Bauerleshutte was a perfect place to stay for 3 days. Would recommend as it had everything we were looking for. The environment is clean and comfortable. Also, the owner is very nice and warm. I am impressed that even we have language barrier with the owner, the owner kept patient to communicate with us. My friends and I really appreciate it. So that, we have also a happy memory when we stayed in Germany. If I have a chance to visit there again, I would choose the apartment again.

This place is a highlight of my trip. It is a perfect 10. The view from the patio is like a photo in a travel brochure. If you visit the Black Forest area I highly recommend to include a stop in Saint Peter and stay here.

Very kind and helpful staff! The travel card you receive by paying the tourist tax is amazing and so easy to travel to Freiburg. Kirchzarten is a small lovely town and the accommodation had everything we needed and was very clean!

Nice location and quiet. Good bed and a spacious room, nice view over the lake. Helpful staff, a nice swimming pool and sauna. The breakfast is first class , fresh fruit, and extensive buffet. Nice hotel to start a walk or a bike ride or swim in the lake.

    Spacious, modernly decorated apartment with beautiful bathroom, convenient kitchen, comfortable living room, private balcony, and small private garden with BBQ. Excellent location at the foot of the Ravenna Gorge near Hinterzarten, Titisee and other sights within the Black Forrest. The host are really friendly and helpful. An excellent value.

    The apartment was clean and easy to find with plenty of room and was really comfortable. It had everything I needed and I loved having outside space. There’s a small supermarket and a restaurant in the village and more shops, restaurants and cafes in the nearby town. It’s really well positioned for visiting local lakes and hiking trails, and there are trails right on the doorstep too. Drive back to Freiburg was only an hour.
