Great central location on elephantine Island, close to the public ferry. One of the cleanest places we stayed in while travelling through Egypt. Nahla is very responsive and helpful, one of her sons can meet you at the ferry to guide you if needed. Great for travellers on a budget. Be aware that life in egypt isn't the same as in Western countries, things may seem different or scary at first; but looks can be deceiving. We have travelled across most of the world and the people on elephantine Island are certainly some of the friendliest and polite. The small community is peaceful and a great break from the craziness on the mainland.

The room was comfortable and the terrace was very relaxing! Miriam was so helpful and arranged several trips for us to Abu Simbel and File island (Isis temple). The dinner she gave us was delicious too! Highly recommended!

    The flat description refers to it as a studio flat, but it's actually a 2 bedroom flat, which is much better. The host was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty and very generous.
