You enter a small paradise! All rooms are towards the garden/pool with a sitting area outside, very quit. There is a very nice lounge area beside the pool and a well equipped kitchen for use. We did not find the mosque praysers disturbing. We enjoyed our stay at the Dulaa Deema Residence very much.

Absolutely *charmé* by my stay at Mount Plaisant! From the moment I arrived, Hadriza, the host, welcomed me not just as a guest, but as an old friend coming home. Having stayed at several properties in both Senegal and Gambia for 3 weeks (two which were 'luxury'), I can only say Riyan Apartments was my favorite overall: great quality-price ratio, extremely friendly, flexible and helpful staff and I will surely stay there next time I go to Gambia as well as recommend it to friends and family (I already have!). It had a 'Melrose Place' feel to it, the 90's TV series. The bedroom A/C worked perfectly which was a true lifesaver at night. Thanks so much to Fatima and all the team!
