This is a wonderful place to explore the area of Akranes. About 20 minutes off the city, settled in a beautiful landscape, the house is very spacious, very comfortable and particularly well equipped. We stayed there with our two kids and the house was more than enough. The outside hot bath is also a wonderful place to relax at the end of a good day. Although we didn't meet them in person the hosts were very friendly and responsive to any question we had.

    This apartment was adorable! It was very clean, beautiful furnishings, lovely yard with a garden, view of a Fjord, and the next door neighbor's chicken coop. The kitchen and bathroom were nicely equipped and it was very functional. Walking distance to the local pizza shop, a 3 minute drive to the historic area of Borganes.

    The apartment is located mear lake and mountain. Beautiful view. Nicely decorated apartment with all necessary facilities for living several nights or one night only.

    Apartment was one of several at the rear of the owner's cafe. It was situated above the cafe which gave views across the fjord and the adjoining hills. As it was self catering, the amenities were good and a discount was offered if you used the cafe. It is situated on the edge of the town of Borgarnes, with a coastal footpath around the district, a short distance away. There are local museums within walking distance.
