Very smart, clean and modern serviced apartment in a great location nearby the Hazrat Sultan Mosque and the National Museum. The apartment is located in a tower block of similar apartments across from the US Embassy. There are convenience stores, access to a printer and coffee shops within the block and eateries and bars close by, so it's ideal for someone who is busy and wants easy access to the essentials within a few m minutes. The apartment itself is a decent size and well equipped with excellent WiFi, smart TV, aircon, washing machine, halogen hob and a b balcony for drying any washing. The bed is comfortable and well sized and the shower is warm and effective. Communication with the owners was very straightforward by WhatsApp, initially in Russian, but they can also speak some English for non locals. Note that there is a 25K KZT damage insurance deposit required on top of the price of the room, but this is clearly communicated during the booking and (assuming no damages) was returned upon departure without issue. We were also able to leave our luggage at the hosts office on the 21st floor of the block while we went around the town as we didn't fly till late in the evening. Depending on availability they were also fairly flexible on early/late check-in /check-out. Both the building itself and the apartment operate via numeric punch pad keyless entry which is convenient and prevents any issues with misplaced keys. I would definitely stay here again if I visited Astana as it is very clean and has everything you need for a very reasonable price.
