I stayed here for two nights and had a truly pleasant and peaceful experience 😊. The property is clean 🧼, and the room was spacious and comfortable 🛏️. I was especially impressed by the beautifully designed bathroom 🚿✨. The location is also very convenient—just a short walk from Matara Railway Station 🚉. What truly made the stay exceptional was the hospitality of the hosts 🤗. The aunty and uncle who live next door are incredibly kind and always ready to help with a warm smile 🧓👵❤️. Their genuine care made me feel right at home 🏠. If you're visiting Sri Lanka 🇱🇰, especially the Matara area, I highly recommend staying here 🌟. Thank you for a wonderful experience! 🙏 धन्यवाद

The room was very clean and spacious❤️❤️ Seperate lounge area to have your meals or do some work on the laptop.Close to all supermarkets, wine stores🍻 railway station and bus station. Selection of different restaurants🌯🥗🍕 and food outlets🥪🧋🍨 closeby as well, which is very convenient. The host Mrs. Malini was very kind and very helpful with anything. During my stay she even served me breakfast and tea every morning, which was very thoughtful. Thank you Mrs. Malini for being a great host 🙂 I highly recommend Relax Apartment for a very clean and spacious room for a very reasonable rate.

I stayed one night with my family during a two-day trip to southern Sri Lanka, and the experience was delightful. The villa is located just a few kilometers from Matara town, in a peaceful neighborhood, and is very well maintained. It can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests, making it ideal for families or groups. I had the pleasure of meeting both the manager and the property owner, who were exceptionally courteous and professional. At my request, they prepared a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast of string hoppers, chicken curry, dhal curry, and pol sambol, which was outstanding. I would gladly return for another stay.

I loved everything about my stay at The Window, but mostly the amazing guest Saroja, who treated me in the most kind way possible! She cooks the best breakfast(which is plentiful and changes every day!) and is always ready to help(she even put suncream on my back where I couldn't reach to make sure I wouldn't burn myself). Her son is cute and very polite and has a talent for drawing!. The room is comfortable and has a lot of little extra, which is gonna make you feel at home: a wardrobe, a desk, and even a hanging wardrobe stick! The village is nice and quiet...there is also a great local restaurant at 5 minutes walking from The Window. I booked for 2 nights and ended up staying a week! The perfect place for a solo female traveller, super safe! Thanks again Saroja for your awesome hospitality, I wish you all the best and I hope to be able to come and visit you again 🫶

I had a great stay here! The location is very good, the beach is just a couple of minutes walk away. I would recommend going to Legend Moon Bay, which has a surfing spot too. The owners are kind and reliable people, the neighbourhood felt safe. The mobile internet coverage is good.

This was truly a hidden gem in Matara. The place is super clean and nice, the kind hosts were very helpful and supportive. This place had fully equipped kitchen (Microwave, Hot Plate, Electric Kettle, Juice Maker, Refrigerator and all the kitchen equipment you could ever want), There were two rooms which was super clean. Also this place had an Electric iron and there were Washing machine (we didn't use the washing machine) although the place is bit far from town, It is in close proximity to Polhena beach, which is a very beautiful beach. My first impression and stay at the place is not 10 out of 10, but 100 out of 10 ❤️. Highly recommend place and will definitely visit again.

    I enjoyed my stay so much! The apartment is very spacious, it also has a private balcony with a nice view to the jungle full of monkeys, squirrels and birds. Vinu's Place is little bit remote from the busiest part of the town - I was surprised at the beginning, but then it made our stay even better. The hosting family is extremely hospitable and caring. Highly recommended!

    Vidu and his family are very special people - warm, welcoming, kind and generous. They helped with everything from scooter rental to clothes washing and made us such delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts - we were even joined by a Peacock! Short walk to the beach in a peaceful area. Vidu took us to the local temple which was beautiful and enlightening. Everyone went above and beyond for us and we felt like family. The kind of place you are very sad to leave. Book it before we move in!

    The apartment was amazing! We ended up staying 8 days instead of 4. The family were so nice and generous. The wildlife you can see from the balcony is amazing, langurs, macaques, peacocks and all different types of birds. Including a momma cat and her two skinny kitties we ended up feeding a lot! 🥲💔highly recommend this place. So much space in the sitting room to do yoga each morning and then enjoy your breakfast on the balcony.

    Nice and clean apartment , worth to the price , there were 3 comfortable beds with seperated rooms, there was a fully equipped kitchen , washing machine , refrigerator also. Hospitality is wonderfull. Special thanks to the guy who helped us during our stay.
