It's really beautiful! Charm, character, cleanliness, and the owner is just so incredibly kind and helpful. Just a hop, skip and jump from the main square, the Markt. Gouda is just so pretty. Great place to work from, btw, if you have to work as we did, is the Chocolade Fabriek, just along the canal to the left as you exit the house. And the cafe at the museum is wonderful!! We loved it all. Amazing stay! Thank you!

Whirlpool directly in the room with the projector to watch netflix while relaxing in the bath was such a cool experience! We enjoyed our stay very much. The bed was comfortable. We also appreciated the self check-in and check-out possibility.

Everything! What an exceptional place. The house is set among canals and fields and is just idyllic. Joyce and Edward were fantastic hosts, providing cake, wine and beers on arrival and a lovely gift of waffles when we left. The location was excellent for visiting Gouda, which we did twice using the bicycles provided. Leiden and Utrecht were only a short drive away (Leiden is a beautiful town/city to visit with the botanical gardens, canals and picturesque architecture) but really, everywhere we visited was lovely and the people very friendly. We were sad to leave.

This place is amazing. I had a wondeful combination of work and relaxation during my stay. Loved the lighting, but mostly the sauna!
