The property was quiet and centrally located in the Cavan countryside, ideally located for exploring both the east and west coasts and Northern Ireland, as well as being within easy reach of Cavan town with its restaurants and supermarkets. My wife and I enjoyed the fine views from the property as well as exploring the surrounding area by foot, including the picturesque Cloughoughter Castle about a 40 minute walk away along tranquil country lanes.

We stayed there 2 nights and were given the right amount of information prior to our stay about the location, how to get in and how to turn heating on and the facilities are all you need. They left us bread, milk, eggs, juice and other essentials etc and it’s not far from Ballinagh where you can get anything else you may need. Great weekend

Amanda and her husband are wonderful hosts who make you feel at home. Everything is well thought. It is very comfortable and cosy. Spacious bathroom, large shower, large closet and chest, all is very handy . The boiler room is the icing on the cake: you can hang wet coats and put away wet shoes. We like it when it is practical and it was! The kitchen is very well equipped. We just loved our stay.

Loved everything about this property. From the VERY hospitable arrival (with bread, milk, scones and the best apple pie and MORE waiting for us) to the whole house, it was perfect! Lots of room for a family, we were 7 including 3 young kids. The rooms were great sizes, the beds and mattresses were wonderful as were the pillows. Lots of towels and face clothes provided. Two great bathrooms and an extra toilet! Kitchen well stocked with all utensils etc. A smart TV for the kids. Lots of place for hide and seek 😁 A nice big garden. Jimmy was there if we needed him and was asking how we were doing. Loved it 😍 we will definitely return when we can.
