We arrived to fresh brown bread, jams and all the makings for crisp sandwiches! Sarah also had some fresh fruits, milk and other bits. Everything was absolutely flawless, the kitchen and baths were well stocked, just such an adorable place. We loved all the special touches, and Sarah was so responsive through our trip. We will absolutely be visiting again!

The apartment has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. We stayed there twice, one night at each end of our two-week holiday in Donegal. We found it a great place to spend our first night after a long flight to Dublin airport (which isn't too far away) and also for finishing off our trip in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. On previous trips to Ireland we'd stayed at other places in County Meath on our first and last nights and they had all been really good but Rathgillen Cabin has become our favourite. Peter, the host, is a very friendly and welcoming fella so we's love it if he'd come to stay with us at our home in Bulgaria some time. And the village has a handy shop, a great pub and a wonderful cafe where we had our final breakfast befor heading home. We were also delighted to discover that Nobber was the birthplace of the 17th Century blind harpist. Turlough O' Carolan whose music we've loved for a long time.

The accommodation was very comfortable and in pristine condition. The grounds and garden are beautiful and very peaceful. Breakfast in the excellent Bective Tea Rooms on site. Bright airy space, with additional outdoor seating. Charming staff. Friendly ambiance. Interesting menu and really delicious food at a reasonable price.

We were amazed how nice,causing exclamations like “wow” from one member of our party. It had a home like feeling, and the hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The property has an outdoor dining area. Adrienne was an amazing hostess. She was very friendly and easy to get on with and full of information on where to eat and things to do in the area. There were easy to follow instructions on how to use the tv, heating, showers etc. and details of local shops and bus times. Basic essentials were available, bread, butter, water bottles, shampoo, shower gel etc. The suite was warm, well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The tv had access to streaming services. The location is a little far out from town and would require a car however everything was within driving distance, local shops, historic sites, surrounding towns. The suite was very affordable. I couldn't recommend Adrienne more.
