The owner had excellent restaurant suggestions (ask where to get boreto!) and told us about the annual procession to bring the statue of Mary to Barbana, which we would have missed otherwise. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

Venzone is a unique small fortified town that has recovered well from a devastating series of earthquakes in 1976. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. Heating was easy and effective and we were able to do a much needed load of laundry and avoid more sink washing!
