It’s a really nice apartment in Santiago. It is relatively close to the airport and the old town, Uber is no problem there. The host was nice, answered me on time and was waiting for me on arrival. Room had a kitchen with a coffee maker, pots and pans, microwave and a fridge. I like it! There is no stores around the area (I found one that sold coffee and canned food), but there is a good local restaurant.

It is a very clean an cozy place. We enjoyed our stay in many ways. The accommodation is well equipped and in good shape. The quality of furniture and decoration is great. The ambient lights are a highlight and the view from the balcony too. The small kitchen is well equipped. We did not miss anything. The owner is very helpful. We had some questions and he always helped us out. The pool was out of service during our stay but we got informed on time and received some cash back for the inconvenience. Now the pool is renovated for you. We highly recommend you a rental car if you want to visit places outside the village. The public busses are extreme unreliable. Locals confirmed us that you never can count on the busses. If you do not have a rental car you have to accept to walk up a short but straight hill to the accommodation. Everything in the village is in walkable distance.

You can enjoy a sunrise or sunset, a beautiful golf course and a view of the French part of St. Marten, depending on the room you are in. There are several suites available and they differ from each other in terms of views, furnishings, but all suites also differ in theme in terms of decor and color. It is therefore important that you contact the manager after you have booked and indicate your specific wishes if you have certain expectations. We were able to enjoy the sunrise and sunset every day. There is a spacious gym and very large pool with facilities. The beautiful beach is a 5-minute walk away and has various food and drink posibilities as well as water sports activities. The photos speak for themselves. In short, an excellent stay, perfect location and highly recommended!!!

Jonny was the perfect host- very helpful and kind! The accommodation was a small house with AC bedroom , separate kitchen with all you need if you decide to cook, , a sofa and a eating corner with a big table , bathroom and WC .It is in his back yard, in a garden with few other houses and a sitting place , if you want to eat outside or to have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. It is 10 min walk from Oranjestad main street and from the marina with many restaurants and bars. You can reach best beaches by public bus from main bus station , also 10 min walk.
