Walkable distance to the entrance of Galle Fort. Superbly clean and wonderful view from the room. I would further recommend rooms on the higher floor which is nearing completion next November which will give you a way better view. The toilet and shower is clean and fitting with quality fittings and finishing. Beds were comfy , room size is a bit small but wasn't an issue. Nice seating area in the balcony to enjoy the sea view right in front of the rooms. The food is also very good and tasty, their seafood is one of the best . The owner Ms. Darshie is a very friendly and helpful, she really takes her guest to the heart and ensures each one of them has a comfortable stay. She doubles up as the chef and made us the best breakfast ever ! Overall this is the best hotel for us in the entire Sri Lanka! A special mention for the husband whom took the trouble to drop us off at the Railway station on our departure. Thank you Sir !

Champika and his family were the most hospitable host we've ever met. They took care of us like we were their family and for that, we are thankful. They serve free breakfast. You can also request for lunch/dinner. They prepare everything with fresh ingredients, NO MSG, just spices. They have vegetables and fruits from their garden. It's a budget friendly meal but the food won't disappoint. They prepare 3-4 different varieties of vegetables and meat as per request. The place was a real cinnamon paradise. Their place was full of cinnamon trees and they don't use any chemicals that's why there were always harmless animals that pass by. You can connect with nature here. The location was perfect. It's far from the main road so you'll hear less noise. The room was simply amazing. It was clean and they do housekeeping every 3 days. They also show you how they prepare the cinnamon they sell. You can buy it from them for a very fair amount.
