It is a birds paradise. Best place, just to sit on the balcony and watch - and Ravindu knows them all. Further more we saw: peackocks, many different storchs, crocodiles, wild boar, elefant. The room and the bathroom were spotless clean, ac and van working well. Ravindu did everything to make sure we had a great stay. If you stay there take breakfast and dinner, it is delicious! This was the best fish curry we had on our one month travel around Sri Lanka! cooked by Ravindu's mother. If you need anything else, there is a small shop just next door. Also TukTuks are available. This place is really highly recommended.

The Melan family has only just started their business and recently opened up to tourists. Because of this, they go to great lengths to make sure everyone is comfortable. They even provided a scooter for me to use, and didn’t charge for it—I ended up having to leave money on the table myself as payment for the scooter. They shared all the details about the town, where to shop, and where to visit. Best of luck to you, Melan, and to your family.

Quality exceeding the price! The villa is spacious and really clean compared to other places we visited in Sri Lanka. Bed linens were clean, mattresses very comfortable. We had a good sleep, there were no noises from outside. Villa is well equipped with kitchen, washing machine and even drying rack for clothes. Shower had good pressure and really hot water thanks to electric boiler. The shower floor even had a proper slope, so the water didn’t stay on the floor and was draining quickly! It was possible to choose from 3 breakfast options and it was tasty with some local dishes and fruits. Owner was very nice to us.

Το Khomba Lodge βρίσκεται στο Tangalle και απέχει 40μ από Παραλία Tangalle και 14 χλμ από Hummanaya Blow Hole. Παρέχει καταλύματα με κλιματισμό και πρόσβαση σε κήπο με υπαίθρια πισίνα. Khomba Lodge is a lovely property and very comfortable. Our family of 4 stayed in the Peacock apartment on the top floor. The pool was nice to laze in, too. The gardens are very peacefuland the beach is accessible from the back gate. The staff were very helpful and accommodated our requests. Lisa was informative during the booking process, Rehan was attentive throughout our stay. Gayan was able to drive us to the airport. The 24/7 security team were very pleasant, too. We really enjoyed eating at Let's Sea a home restaurant a 2 min walk away. Serenity Cabanas, a short walk in the other direction, did fabulous breakfasts with ocean views. Tangalle is a great base for day trips to Udawala and Yala National Parks, and many other places. Thanks again to the team at Khomba Lodge for a relaxing stay. We would definitely stay again if we have the opportunity to return to Sri Lanka. 🙏

Very clean and silent place. Very nice family. The owner can be reached anytime by WhatsApp, He answers very fast and knows about events, sights and things to do in the area. You get a very clean and comfortable room with a very good and silent AC and van, comfortable bed, kettle and dishes, on the terrace table and chair. Beach, shops and restaurants within 3 minute walking. Next door is a very good restaurant, spa, yoga, coworking space. In the evening they play little music , after 10 it's silent.

Ramesh and his sister Nona are exceptional hosts. Kind and generous, they take great efforts to make you feel at home. They offer far more than comfortable beds and delicious food: strong internet, a beautiful environment, lovely shared terrace for reading or dining, beach towels, a clean and well-equipped shared kitchen, a washing machine, attention to detail, etc. We are already looking forward to coming back.

Το 4 S Villa διαθέτει καταλύματα με εστιατόριο, κήπο, κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge και βεράντα, ενώ το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Παραλία Tangalle απέχει 200μ. The stay at 4 S Villa was pure magic. The villa is spacious, located just a short walk away from the beach as well as shops and restaurants. Sanjeewa the Host was super friendly, very communicative with very good English (great conversations). The villa has a garden with a washing machine, which allows doing the laundry. But for Sanjeewa, we wouldn't have experienced the after sunset trip to Rekawa Sanctuary to see turtles lay eggs and disappear in the ocean. Unforgettable night. Last but not least, the beauty of the mangrowe adjacent to the villa. The chance to observe the flora and fauna, all the birds and animals living in their natural habitat, the changing light depending on the time of the day offer a stunningly meditative element, which makes one give up the beach. The three days we spent at 4 S Villa was definitely not enough. We highly recommend 4 S Villa... Ps. The beautifully painted gate must be seen from the front door of the house!

Loved my stay here - great self-contained bungalow with everything I needed, very comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious with beautiful presentation and a nice setting by the pool. I enjoyed the sunbathing and pool area, and it’s a short walk to the beach / restaurants. As I had rented a tuk tuk, it also had plenty of parking and was safe.
