It's completely in the middle of nature. It's very well equipped. It also has a beautiful view of Sigiriya Rock even from the bed. What was more surprising, was the care and helpfulness from the owner Peter and the caretaker Sumith.

We stayed in one of their rooms for 6 nights to rest and explore the area and they made us feel like family the whole time! The room was very clean, the mattress and pillows very comfortable and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. My favourite part was the patio in the front surrounded by trees and nature. All we could hear for days was the sound of the animals which was sooo relaxing! We spent hours relaxing and reading our books there. He also had excellent breakfast every morning, home cooked, and we were asked very often if we needed something (towels, cleaning, toilet paper etc). His son also took really good care of us. He gave us local teas and snacks to try which was so nice. They also helped us with our Tuktuk a couple of times that we needed it. We can’t thank them enough🙏🏼 we will definitely be back! Tip: while you’re there try the cooking class they offer once daily but book a few days in advance to be sure! People were coming every day for the class and we decided to try it too and didn’t regret it. We learned so much about the local cuisine and spices and we had such a delicious meal in the end🙏🏼
