Exploring the hotel and its charming little garden, we were impressed by the thoughtful details and stylish touches everywhere. The hotel’s just 500 meters from downtown, with stunning views of the colorful houses day or night. Our suite was spacious at 65㎡, with its own little garden for soaking in the scenery. The design screamed vibrant Mexican charm—think colorful curtains, wall art, table decor, throw pillows, lamps, even a tissue box with floral patterns. Stepping inside, the living room with perfect lighting: the main light cast a soft, warm glow, and extra lights by the sofa chased away every shadow. It felt eco-friendly yet bright enough to light up the whole space. The kitchen was fully equipped with a fridge, oven, microwave, and dishes, making everything super convenient. The living room and bedroom were separated by a wooden handmade partition, which was great for privacy if you’re traveling with others. The bedroom was cozy, carrying that same colorful Mexican vibe. The bathroom was tucked off to the side, simple yet elegant, with a big cabinet for organizing towels, facecloths, and a laundry basket. It was spotless—no weird smells or water stains—and the mirror above the sink sparkled. The hotel’s garden downstairs was gorgeous, perfect for sipping drinks, barbecuing, or taking stunning photos anywhere you point your camera. They even incorporated Guanajuato’s mining history with a cool spiral tunnel leading to the parking garage.

This was a great space in a fantastic location. It was perfect for exploring the heart of SMA. I would eagerly book this place again if/when I return to the area.

Casa Cardennal biedt accommodatie in San Miguel de Allende, op 12 km van Heiligdom van Jesús de Nazareno de Atotonilco en 3 minuten lopen van Las Monjas Temple. I had originally booked a small room, but the hostel owner kindly changed it to a larger room that was available. The staff were very kind and helpful. They kept in touch with me until I checked out. Thanks to them, I really liked the San Miguel de Allende.

Santuario de la Paz - Newly Modern Renovated Apt heeft uitzicht op de bergen, en biedt accommodatie met een balkon en een waterkoker, op 16 minuten lopen van Historisch Museum van San Miguel de... This apartment is incredible! It is a brand new, modern American style remodel, with every amenity you could want. Excellent appliances, XL washer and dryer, 6 burner gas stove, side by side fridge/freezer. The Kitchen is better stocked than most homes (rice cooker, air popcorn popper, baking dishes, goes on and on). All of the water is purified and safe to drink from the tap. Both bedrooms are large with big closets, TVs, gas fireplace and A/C. The king size beds and bedding are very comfortable. There are 2 outdoor terraces, with furniture and a BBQ grill that was great to cook on. The couch and living room are comfortable (though it might be crowded for 4 people to hang out there). We had problems with the WiFi, but called the management company and they fixed it. From then on, it was SUPER fast. The #4 bus stops at the corner and for $8 pesos, it will take you to Centro (but its also a nice walk up there). The San Antonio neighborhood is quiet and residential. There are a bunch of great restaurants on Sterling Dickinson street and you’ll find little corner butcher shops and grocery stores tucked around. We also had house cleaning once a week that was very nice.

Location was fantastic - right in the heart of the charming homes and cobblestone streets, and only 2 short blocks from the town center! Great room - spacious, clean, great AC. Bathroom was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Garden area is beautiful.
