We expected our stay in Tiputa to be slightly off the beaten path - and it was, for the best of it! The property is at the "remote" end of the village, on the ocean shore - enjoy the noise of breakers during the night! First floor, nice view. No light pollution - enjoy the view of the Milky Way at night. Beyond the beauty of Rangiroa (expected), we were warmly welcome by the owner's family, who did everything to make us feel at home. Bread, butter, jam were offered for breakfast, and the "restaurant" they recommended was... the neighbor's yard, with 4 tables and a "beware of the dog" sign on the porch. The dog is nice and well-behaved, the cook very friendly and focused on healthy local dishes with fresh (garden-plucked) ingredients, which were outstanding (and more than decently priced)! Thank you for everything, this was a highlight of our vacation in Tahiti.

We have chosen the perfect accommodation. The rooms are tidy and the outdoor area is great for chilling out. There is a kitchen in case you need to cook something or have breakfast. Bicycles are available to explore the island. The host is very friendly and we had a great time in Fare Mahei. You are picked up for boat trips and otherwise restaurants are within cycling distance or the pizzeria is within walking distance. We also recommend cycling to Tiputa pass to see the dolphins. The best time is between 16:00-17:00. We would always recommend the accommodation and look forward to staying here again on Rangiroa. Thank you very much!

The little house was exactly what we needed. It was 5 minutes on foot from the public beach and 7 minutes from the Kia Ora with a restaurant and bar. It is relatively secluded from other houses, so it offers privacy. The keys were handed out to us soon after we arrived and entered the house. The person who brought us the keys, also helped us to rent bicycles and dropped us in the store to buy water. The host was responsive and forthcoming from the very beginning. He helped us to solve all issues.
