Because after staying in hundreds of accommodations in over 60 countries, this might be the most special of them all. Why do I say this? The people. Thi and Tu made our experience. Their kindness, warmth, and friendship were the highlight of our entire time in Hoi An. They were like two aunties to our daughter, great friends to my wife, and always available if I needed anything from a motorcycle to a driver to a recommendation. It is these two ladies (and Thi's daughter, Linh, that we miss the most). The location. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood on the north end of town, it provides both easy access to all of the sites with a serene, quiet solitude when you want some quiet time. Walks in the rich paddy were less than 100m away. And the cafe across the street became our favorite morning ritual (with excellent coffee and a beautiful family than owns it). The room. We had the top floor "penthouse", which was dreamy. We had a small kitchen in a separate room, a day bed by the window for lounging and playing, a big shower that opened to the bathroom and the balcony, and a huge outdoor bathtub that fits a small family and overlooks the morning sunrise over the paddy. This place is truly one of a kind. In many ways, our trip to Hoi A wouldn't have been nearly as special without it. And as we were leaving today, my wife and I agreed that Charm Champion was our favorite accommodation we have ever experienced in our lives. Thank you with all of our hearts, Thi, Linh, and Tu. Lee is a great host, friendly and professional, we were halfway our trip and booked especially because of the washing machine and dryer, which was brilliant. The bed is comfortable, not so hard for a change and the shower is just perfect with actual hot water and pressure 😁 Also very good to have refill for drinking water to avoid the many single use plastic bottles.

We loved the intimity of the place. The rooms have a european vibe to them with exclusive materials, tiles and design. Its not a big hotel, but its perfect for what we wanted. A local small gem with high standard. The staff was very welcoming and warm, especially Diem Phuong was always smiling and willing to help us with whatever. The pool area is very nice, and for our kids it was perfect for an afternoon swim or after breakfast dip. We will come back!

The rooms are super nice and the breakfast is amazing. The family takes you in as one of their own, if you let them and their local expertise made our short time in Hoi An very memorable. We cannot recommend it enough this stay will make any Vietnam travel very special.
