Initially we thought the place was too far from our conference venue and too close to a fuel station along the N1 highway but it is a lovely drive to this place. We really enjoyed the semi-rural feel and furnishings. I was initially a bit concerned with the proximity of the place to a fuel station along the N1 highway but my concerns were misguided. It had everything we needed including friendly dogs that my kids adored. We will definitely consider staying at this place again.

Featuring a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of pool, Summer PALACE Guesthouse is a recently renovated apartment located in Bloemfontein, 13 km from Oliewenhuis Art Gallery. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Furniture and fittings is royal, too exquisite-more like your 5 star hotel. Everything is well placed in the room, from kitchen, bathroom. Parking, wifi, big screen tv etc. It is a very safe place, the manager made sure we had everything we needed, allowing flexibilty in her service offering. The fact that it is about 8km from town makes it even more ideal, serene and refreshing. Its more than what we bargained for. I would do it again should I come this side again.

I had an incredible experience staying at Debbie's place, and I couldn't be more pleased with her hospitality. Before my arrival, she reached out to ensure a smooth check-in process. Upon reaching the accommodation, I was warmly greeted, and the hosts were exceptionally welcoming! My stay was delightful, and what made it even more special was when I mentioned my interest in checking out the birth sign of JRR Tolkien at the Hobbit Boutique Hotel. Debbie went above and beyond by contacting the hotel and letting them know about my arrival. This has easily become one of my favorite accommodations!
