We liked absolutely everything about this place. The most friendly and helpful staff ever. They arranged for us transfer from and to the airport, a car, a trip to the neighboring island. The room was spacious and cosy. Its was cleaned every day. The location is literally by the ocean, which is perfect. There is a direct access to a beach with a good snorkelling conditions. The hotel provides beach towels and deckchairs. The reef near the hotel is amazing. There is also another beach good for swimming and sunbathing. There are restaurants nearby where you can have your lunch or dinner. We really hope to come back!

Chez Henri was a great find! We booked last minute and they kindly were able to get a room made up for us. The photos don't really do it justice; it's a lovely unique home with beautiful features. The room is on the top floor and is light, airy and spacious, with a sofa and a little kitchen area so you don't have to drive somewhere for dinner. It's a nice area and the beach was blessedly quiet. In the morning I was able to walk there in a couple of minutes and have a lovely sunrise swim. Henri and his wife are very welcoming with a nice energy, and made us a perfect breakfast to enjoy on the terrace of their beautiful front garden. Max (lovely big hairy cuddly dog) was a highlight for me too 🥰

The apartment was beautiful. It had everything I needed and the location is great. Only an 8-10 minute walk to the beach. You can get to Mahebourg easily as the busses will stop outside the front gate. The bathroom was really nice and it has a kitchen with all the facilities you need to make a meal. The apartment is very modern. It was nice to spend the time there as there was one day where the weather was bad so luckily it was good that the apartment was such a pleasure to stay in.
