This apartment has every detail you might need, it was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was great. It has 2 entrance doors, one gives directly to street, which it's super handy if you go with dogs. The street was very quiet, and parking around was easy enough. Owner was very attentive. We'll definitely try to book again if we're in the area.

The apartment is great with a really nice touch. It’s a close walk to the Sangatte beach and a lot of services in the area. There is also parking available right on the property.

If you are reading this comment of mine, it means you are lucky to see this property available. Book it without second thought! The host Thierry is really helpful and accessible. Everything is just great with this apartment, it is close to the beach, well equipped kitchen. Keep in mind that stairs to the 2nd floor in the apartment is a bit steep but with our 2 little kids (4 years and 2 years old), it was not an issue. I also read that some people had difficulty for parking, we were lucky to park very close. It is all free on the street and plenty of parking, however it can indeed be busy during the weekends.

Located 1.6 km from Calais Beach and 700 metres from Calais Railway Station in the centre of Calais, Le Clos des Mouettes provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. We were greeted at the door by a lovely couple who made us feel very welcome and totally at ease. This was Virginie and Pascal and whilst Virginie entertained us in the living room, Pascal carried our luggage up three flights of stairs. Also, as we took a shower, Pascal booked an excellent restaurant nearby and even walked us to it so we couldn't go wrong. The next morning, we were presented with a most excellent breakfast at a time that accorded with our ferry check-in time. This breakfast included their own exquisite homemade jams and marmalades, and Pascal had gone out that morning for fresh bread and cheeses that were well chosen for quality. Car parking was outside the door but, Pascal offered us the use of his private site around the other side of the house. This bed and breakfast is exactly what good accommodation should be and is run by a couple who care about their reputation and offer what they would expect themselves. Consequently, I have no hesitation in highly recommending Le Clos Des Mouettes. Well done Virginie and Pascal.

Studio plage, vue mer et dragon, garage pour moto is a beachfront property set in Calais, 300 metres from Calais Beach and 1.5 km from Calais Railway Station. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. Anne and Jean-Louis picked us up at the ferry terminal and took us for a short tour of Calis before taking us to the studio apartment. The tour was very much appreciated as it oriented us to the city. Upon arrival to the flat, our hosts showed us to the apartment and explained all the details of how things worked. It was a pleasant surprise to have wine and goodies as a welcome gift, thank you Anne! The suite is quite small, but very clean and had everything we needed for a couple nights stay. The fold out futon was comfortable for our length of stay. The location was perfectly situated; close to the beach and the free public transport was steps away from the building. We did use the bus to access some of the points of interest that Anne recommended and really enjoyed walking about. We also really appreciated that our hosts took the time to drive us to the train station the morning of our departure! These extra perks are not often offered by Airbnb hosts, and we have been to many. So we would definitely recommend this location to others.

Beautifully appointed apartment on the top floor of a 3 storey building in Calais close to anything you would need. It was very clean and comfortable, the host was very welcoming.
