Definitely the most impressive mountain hotel I have ever been. Everything was on the highest level, from the views from the windows, room design, bathroom, tub inside living room to kindness of the staff, sauna, breakfast. It is not cheap, but it is worth every money!

It's great value for money. I cannot recommend enough. It's way better than staying in the hotels in Hallstatt. There's a bus stop right at the entrance of this hotel, and it's only 5 min walk from the train station, so you can get to not only Hallstatt (which is only 10mins by bus) but also other places in the region (easier than staying in Hallstatt itself because Hallstatt train station isn't in the village). You will get better view here (unless you like the view from Hallstatt specifically, which I don't), much better facilities than the hotels in Hallstatt. And I love the vibe here, it's like a cute and tranquil village which is surrounded by mountains, you will get good view from literally every angle. I saw a few bad reviews on cleanliness here but I personally didn't have any issues. The room was clean just like other hotels I've stayed.

It is about a 10 minute walk from Obertraun station. It was very clean and comfortable. You can also eat breakfast. If you are thinking of staying in Hallstatt, I recommend around Obertraun! There aren't that many people so you can have a quiet and relaxing time.

The hotel is clean and warm. It's located right in the center of the village. It has excellent view of the town and lake. There is shuttle service from parking lot to the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.
