Beautiful breakfast, location was perfect, right on the beach. Very safe, you could still walk on the beach after dark even as a single woman. I certainly wouldn’t do that in central Rio de Janeiro. Ancoradouro was very central to the shops, the many restaurants and bars. It was sooo nice and peaceful and relaxing with plenty to do at the same time!!! It’s quiet yet still central and close to all the restaurants and shops in Abrao. Just an 8 min walk along the beach from main pier. Might be tricky with a big suitcase though! Also a nice pool. The best experience however was with the staff and especially the girl from the reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
