The beautiful room, the view on the Pacifc ocean, the great food, the kindness and professionnalism of the staff, all the animals you can spot so close to you (monkeys, macau, toucans, frogs, etc.). The park of the hotel is a good before-taste of the almost nearby Corcovado national park not to be missed, with great guides

The location is pretty good. You can go everywhere by foot. The Room is very clean and the kitchen has a lot of features like smoothiemaker, Ricecooker etc. Also the Family who runs this place is very frendly and helpful. They offer daily cleaning services, pick you up at the busstation and let you borrow their bikes. I can only recommend to stay here in Pavones!

I have never been to a hotel before where the owner does a quick haircut and mends your bag on your first day. Thank you for looking after my husband when he felt frail. I love the room, the chairs. The forest location. That there was no artificial lighting in front of our room late at night ...the dark was a joy and seeing the sunrise through the trees The home cooking, the coffee the little seawater pool, the wild beach. The caring environment, lovely staff. The howler,the macaws , the things that went bump on our roof! Its a little different. The Golfe Dulce is away from the tourist trail and is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen

Incredible welcome by Tanya and Richard. They gave us full of idea and excellent advices about the area. We loved eating every evening together with them and the cook. Taking Time to chat or play games. It feels like a family. The location is perfect right by the sea with a surfbreak that you only share with one or two persons. Turtle nesting right on the beach. We loved it ! They made our stay so special that we stayed one extra night. Thank you

Look this is as rustic as it gets. Don't expect glamour - it's a basic apartment right on the seas edge. Its a cold water tap shower with basic cooking facilities but that adds to its authenticity. No ac but fans in bedrooms. The hosts are genuine & want you to fall in love with the area as much as they do. We loved it. The whale watching trip with the neighbours was just brilliant as was the trip into the national park - car & walk organised by tour operator 5 minutes from property Great stay & yes we feel in love with it x

Absolutely loved it here! As soon as I arrived I was greeted with big smiles and kindness from the staff. They are relaxed, helpful, fun and just really good people. Room was great! Bed comfy. I loved how the hotel had different zones so you can either be social or find a quiet area to chill. Shared kitchen was super clean, spacious and very well organized. Lots of surfboards for rent. Beach about 50m away, a few cafes / restaurants close, as well as the mini market store. 100% will be back! Hopefully sooner rather than later. Thanks for a great time Hotel Swell....
