We are a well traveled family but this hotel is just amazing. I stayed with my daughter for 5 days and everything was just perfect. Hardly saw any hotel wich is so nice surrounded by nature and we observed so many animals, howling monkeys everywhere. It is outstanding how much that hotel cares about the environmental outcome. The staff is very friendly and the laundry service a big plus. We loved to drive around with the bikes. The breakfast is lovely and the walk through the jungle directly to beach observing crabs and frogs, couldn’t get enough.

A beautiful little tropical haven. Lovely designed room with a very comfortable bed. Gorgeous and relaxing pool area. Great location, short walk to the beach. All staff were amazing - super friendly and welcoming.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast every morning was great. Room was very clean. Short walk to the beach. There is a path at the back of the property that led to the Menara restaurant next-door, which had out of this world food and very well priced.

Breakfast was a lovely traditional costa rica eggs rice beans bananas salad love it, they also let us change up a bit at the last couple of days to pancakes, the location was just 20 yards up the road fantastic'o

I have stayed at La Negra several times, it is a lovely place in a fantastic location with direct access to the beach. The staff are all very helpful and kind, particularly Isabel on reception.

Honestly not sure of why all the bad reviews. This place is simple but functional, and great value! The AC and wifi works, the bed is comfy, the team is lovely and cheerful, the courtyard is green and peaceful… what else can one need? (and our room was actually huge!)

This is the best place to stay if you want to see the arribada of turtles! The starting point of the tours is just right across the street. Ostional is quite far to drive from other locations, it is advisable to drive there in daylight and stay in the village for a night. The house is basic but comfortable, the rooms have AC and stable wifi. The hosts were super kind depsite the language barrier.
