The best place we’ve stayed during our 3wks in Costa Rica. The hotel has white colonial style rooms, set in beautiful tropical gardens and a wonderfully landscaped pool, all fronting the Pacific. The breakfast was good and the staff were all amazingly friendly and helpful. We also had a great deal for our stay so it was excellent value for money for the area.

We loved that the beach was right in front of the property. Alejandro, the host, was super kind. Communication was quick and he helped us with everything that we needed. He made our stay (2 adults, one 5 year old and a baby) very comfortable. Parking is right on the property. If you are interested in fishing, the beach is amazing to catch some nice fish: there are roosters, jacks, trigger fish, blue runners, mangrove snapper and more... Locals there know how it's done and fish there daily. They are kind and can help you out. If there are plenty of sardines in the water, safe your time with artificial lures. Get some sardines and fish on the bottom. You won't wait long for a bite ;)

One of the most special hotels I've stayed in, we saw so many animals there, iguanas, monkeys, squirrels and more, an excellent beach for surfing with a surfing club on site, the restaurant is excellent for breakfast and dinner, the room was huge and cozy, we were on the second floor so there was less room for animals to enter the rooms. The laundry services were a complete and excellent surprise

The best place in Costa Rica We have travelled for 2 weeks and this accomodation,the lovely host and the paradise beach definitely convinced us to return Gary, the host is such an enthusiastic and helpful gentleman full of recommendations and stories to tell. The apartment has everything that you need for your stay, but I guarantee you that you will spend most of the time at the beach, which is IN FRONT of Gary's property. A true gem

Very friendly staff. Breakfast every morning was great. Room was very clean. Short walk to the beach. There is a path at the back of the property that led to the Menara restaurant next-door, which had out of this world food and very well priced.

This place is an absolute gem. Perfect location just steps from the beach, clean and comfortable rooms and shared space, kind and accommodating host and staff, and very reasonable prices. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Overall, the hotel is pretty great and the owners are lovely. It's very quiet, the rooms are nice and the beds firm. The owners cook their own meals at the restaurant, it takes some time but it's very tasty. For the money you pay (which is half the price of most villas in the vicinity) it's a steal. Right on the beach, close to the main road and a bunch of places to eat. The pool is large, bigger than most tiny hotel pools, and is cleaned regularly. Rooms are also cleaned a few times a week. There are howler monkeys living in the trees right next to the hotel.
