After 8 days camping in Osa, these was super fantastic chill out place...huge terrace with hammocks, full equiped open air funky kitcheen, best beach of all costarican caribean...owners are freaks, they serve nice food in the evening there is fantastic atmosphere in the bar...strongly reccomended...kids loved the place soooo much and was hard to drag them out of ocean...also nice coral reef with lot of fishes in front

The staff were so friendly, everything was so clean and tidy including the kitchen which had everything you need! Rooms were spacious with a big locker for all your belongings. Lots of chill out spots and good WiFi. Would highly recommend! Will be staying here when I come back to Puerto Viejo:)

Beautiful property, great pool, beautiful room. Frog ponds were pretty neat and we saw a few red-eyed tree frogs on the night it rained. One of the most lovely hotels we booked in Costa Rica. Would recommend it to a friend.

The hotel was beautiful, breakfast was outside (under a covered area in case it rains ;), and the staff was so kind and ready to help if needed! When we arrived we went straight to check in and the first thing we received was a fresh coconut, which was very nice especially after the long drive we had that morning. There were two options for breakfast, american or costa rican breakfast and they were at the moment of ordering, which made it extra good. You have to walk 5-10 minutes to get to the stores/restaurants of the town but that's fine, if you get tired there are always a lot of little "taxis" driving around who will bring you back.

Comprising a garden and a terrace, Smile Jungle Hostel is a recently renovated accommodation in Puerto Viejo set close to Cocles Beach.

The owner and his mum were so welcoming and helpful! They made us great breakfast and accommodated for us being vegan. The hostel is in a pretty location and it has a nice chilled vibe. It's clean and comfortable too.
