EVERYTHING !!! 1. Super hosts (Karin and Nony): Very kind, super nice and professional! Perfect communication (via booking.com or whatsapp) before arrival.During stay were incredibly helpful in everything (they live a dozen or so meters from the Villa and responds within a few minutes for every inquiries or requests sent by whatsapp).They treat you like a friend, not a customer.Have very professional knowledge according to nature, animals, area etc. so they are also very interesting people to talk to.Host has a biology education and is a very professional guide (especially regarding nature, birds and ecotourism) and I recommend much more tours with Nony (he has many options from 2 hours to the whole day), which are much more interesting then tours in NP Corcovado.Both owners are foreigners so they have a comprehensive view of client's needs. 2. Great place and location! House is located in a beautiful place at the "end of the world" (one of the last houses, several kilometers south of Drake's Bay, 50m from the jungle; 20m from the bay (when you can swim) and on several km long beach. If you are looking for a place which are: modern, comfortable and at the same time secluded and quiet this is the place !!! New, very modern house in a European style (brick walls, large - from floor to ceiling - (glass) windows in the bedroom, which are also sliding doors to the terrace (in addition to the windows/doors, there is also a second sliding "layer" in the form of a mosquito net so you can have windows wide open and the mosquito net closed!), modern bathroom, new and efficient air conditioning in the bedroom, large and very well-equipped kitchen where you can cook full meals; large covered terrace. From bedroom/terrace view to the garden and...to the sea (you can hear the sound of the waves at night! Beautiful, very large (3 ha) garden with various plants, a pond and... animals that visit the garden in front of the house every day

Beautiful bungalow in the middle of the rainforest and facing the sea. Wild.

We have been home 2 weeks but we are still dreaming about our stay at Kinkajoungalows. From start to finish the stay was perfect. A welcome committee of strong men met our boat from Sierpe to help with our luggage. We were looked after like this for the whole of our stay by the perfect hosts. The family team never imposed on our privacy and were very discreet but were always available when we needed any help. Samuel was incredibly helpful and responsive providing answers to all our questions. The lovely little bungalows are well positioned for each guests privacy and with balconies overlooking the jungles.Just sitting on the balcony we saw Monkeys, Toucans, Scarlet Macaws, a Tapir and an anteater. The rooms are perfectly comfortable , nicely decorated and very well equipped. We loved the location just a few steps from a secluded paradise beach, where you could lay in a hammock to enjoy a cocktail and watch the fabulous sunsets. We didn't venture very far as the immediate area was so wonderful that we didn't want to to rush around,. We wanted to enjoy the relaxed mood and savour the moment. We simply relaxed , enjoyed the simple home cooked food., ad being looked after by the staff. We are now desperate to return and hope to have the opportunity to spend more time there to further explore the area, or simply enjoy this very special place ! A thank you to Kenya who helped me out by giving me a tube of Aloe Vera Gel when I stupidly got sunburnt on the snorkeling trip to Canos islands.

Such an incredible experience! Feels like living inside the jungle! The stuff of the hotel were super nice! Big thanks to the chef Pablo who was amazingly nice and made for us the greatest food! We will definitely come back :)

The location is amazing, this family business is a true gem and hosts are extremely kind and welcoming! They help you to organize activities and move around and make your staying fantastic!.

We absolutely loved everything here! It was the best of the best of our stays in Costa Rica! It is ran by a local family with great hospitality, Rafa and Esther. We loved the peace & quiet, leash greenery around, the food cooked by Esther, the animals around, the welcoming atmosphere. Take the full board option, it is fully worth it! The cabin had a big porched with roof over it, so you can enjoy the outside also if it rains. There were so many animals to admire from there! Scarlet macaws, two kinds of toucans, soo many birds, also capuchin & spider monkey. There is also a 3 toed sloth on a tree at their place! The beach is just 100m away. They will show you which part is safe for swimming. Agujitas is 1:30hr trek away via San Josecito trail. We arranged our boat in and out from/to Sierpe plus a day trip to Corcovado park with a great local guide via them. The fan in our room was strong and we used it on a minimal volume during the night, so AC is not needed. There wifi was strong. There is really nothing to complain about. We stayed there for 5 nights and felt we could have stayed more.

Great location! Lots of animals in the garden. Fantastic atmosphere. If we ever go to Costa Rica again, we will stay longer here.

The family working there is so wonderful. only stayed four nights but we really felt at home. the view is very nice. you can hike from there to the scretch of the national park by yourself. the beach has an awesome rural charme, we loved it, rough for swimming but if you take care it is fine, you will have the beach sometimes for yourself. The hotel is super clean
